The North American TBF Avenger was an American carrier-based torpedo bomber used primarily during World War II. Designed by Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation, the TBF Avenger was a key element of American naval aviation during the fighting in the Pacific theater. Entering service in 1942, the aircraft was used to attack surface targets, especially enemy ships. Its three-person crew consisted of a pilot, gunner and operator. The TBF Avenger was armed with a machine gun and could carry torpedoes, bombs and rockets. Its participation in the Battle of Midway in 1942 was crucial to the success of American naval aviation. After the end of World War II, the TBF Avenger was gradually replaced by newer designs but remained in use until the 1960s. This plane gained considerable fame as a reliable combat machine, able to survive even heavy damage and return to the aircraft carrier safely! • 392 high-quality elements • Produced in the EU by a company with over 20 years of tradition • The blocks meet the safety standards of products for children • Fully compatible with other brands of construction blocks • Blocks with prints do not scratch or smear and do not fade during play or under the influence of temperature • Clear and intuitive instructions based on illustrations and step-by-step directions • 1:48 scale plane • Pilot figure Model dimensions (L x W x H): 250mm x 335mm x 110mm Safety Warning Danger of suffocation due to small parts that can be swallowed Review: On desertcart. - Just started this model fantastic.
