Der Baum trägt immer, und die Menge ist mindestens zufriedenstellend, meistens gut bis sehr gut. Aber letztes Jahr musste ich fast die Hälfte der Ernte wegen des Befalls wegwerfen. Das möchte ich nicht nochmal erleben, deshalb habe ich diese Gelbtafeln in den Baum gehängt. Die Handhabung ist sicher und einfach; die ersten Leimfallen habe ich im Gartencenter gekauft, dann hier bei Amazon bestellt und die am stärksten besetzten Tafeln ausgetauscht gegen neue. Leider sind sicher viele nützliche Insekten durch die Tafeln zu Tode gekommen, das tut weh, aber mein Kampfgeist gegen die Walnussfruchtfliege hat sich durchgesetzt. Über die Wirkung kann ich bis jetzt noch nichts sagen, das wird sich erst im Herbst zeigen. Vorbeugend habe ich letztes Jahr gewissenhaft alle befallenen Nüsse aufgelesen und weggeworfen, ausserdem habe ich den Bereich unter der Baumkrone mit einem Pflanzenstärkungsmittel besprüht.
