This is a life saver
I have only used this product for a few days, so I cannot speak to its durability. But since I injured my back in an exercise class, this cordless heating pad has been incredibly helpful. Heat stops the painful muscle spasms in my lower back. The ability to have heat while moving around in my daily life is a significant improvement over being stuck in one place with a regular electric heating pad. The battery pack runs down relatively quickly, and charging it takes hours (2.5 hours for a full charge). The three different vibration settings are nice and maybe helpful, and just wearing the back brace after the heat has turned off is good too.

Working Outstanding for Me
I LOVE this! It charges nicely, has auto shut off so you don't overheat yourself in case you doze off with it on (I simply turn it back on when I choose to wear it longer) and, the best part, I can move about and do things freely without being stuck to a limited area by a wall cord. I have DDD, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and RA but I refuse to be sedentary. I won't take narcotic pain pills because they make me drowsy and cloud my head and I won't take prednisone because it makes me edgy and causes weight gain. I've always been an extremely active person but my back pain has become so excruciating that it's forcing me to slow down. I'm going to have the nerves ablated but in the interim I need something to help relieve the pain at least a little bit so I can keep moving. This awesome heating pad is doing the trick. I don't use the massager because it would aggravate my specific condition, however it works. Eorth the buy for sure.

Best in class (powered by removable power banks)
****IF YOU BUY THIS: first thing, use rubber electrical tape or light-duty duct tape to reinforce the thin power cable where it connects to the USB-A male adapter that inserts into the USB-A female port of the power bank you are using. Otherwise the cable will surely fray and possibly even break completely during normal use, making the belt's powered functions unusable. Reinforcing it right away will extend the belt's usefulness by months, likely years. This is a recurring issue with light-duty electronic devices sold on Amazon. Careful proactive attention to weak spots like this saves time, avoids waste, and reduces the need for warranty actions. UPDATE 2025-08-23 The ALLJOY belt with a 10k mAh power bank sold elsewhere on Amazon is still a good option, but I've decided that this COMFYTEMP model with a 5k mAh power bank included is the best option, as long as you are willing to invest in the new generation of small form-factor, GaN-chip managed10k power banks that fit in this unit's smaller-size pocket. (The pocket's small size is not the deal-breaker I initially thought, after all!) Two of these power banks allow all-day coverage without worry. The extra ~USD $50 investment is well worth it for my peace of mind! The included 5k power bank can be used for other things or given away to someone, so it is not simply something to be dropped in a drawer and forgotten about. I've discovered that the holding down of the two control buttons to turn the heat & vibration features on and off has a hidden undocumented benefit: they turn the attached power bank on and off without needing to press the bank's own power button first. Since the bank's button can be very hard to reach while the bank is in the belt pocket, this makes the belt much simpler and easier to use. ORIGINAL REVIEW (edited for content) Ever since I learned that I fractured my spine, I've been searching for a massage/heating belt that is wireless, can run while charging, heats effectively, runs quietly, doesn't break down or fall apart quickly, fits well & the straps retain their stickability, has effective elastic sizing straps, and has a properly situated pocket that can securely hold a larger 10k mAh power bank. Admittedly, that's a very long wish list! Fortunately, out of the many such devices currently offered on Amazon (all manufactured in China), at least two remain in the running: the ALLJOY brand device powered by an included removable 10k mAh power bank, situated in a pocket on the belt; and the COMFYTEMP brand with a 5k power bank. With another 10k power bank or perhaps two purchased separately on Amazon, I can keep either running all day. Time will tell if they prove durable; I've purchased an Asurion plan just in case. Based on the criteria listed above, the unit under review comes pretty close to meeting all my needs, but still misses out in some key respects. The heat is good, but the fit and loudness are a bit below the ALLJOY model. The two control buttons are not very responsive; they need to be held down for a couple of seconds to get them working. I thought for awhile the belt might be DOA. (This may however be a feature rather than a bug, since the belt has no lock setting to prevent accidental changes.) Both run while charging, a big plus allowing tethered function at locations like home or in the car while the batteries charge. The deal-breaking problem is that the COMFYTEMP's pocket is too small to accommodate a larger form-factor 10k battery. I find that 5k batteries fit well, but last too short a time with these belts. I would have to keep 4 of them charged up and on hand to keep the belt running. I much prefer having just 2 x10k power banks on hand as I can with the ALLJOY belt. So this COMFYTEMP model is good, but I can do better with the ALLJOY for not much more money.

Great product battery sucks
The product works as described. They say don’t put it up against your skin and I thought it was because it might burn but no it’s because you can’t throw it in the wash as the mechanical parts are secured by stitching. I do put it directly on my skin and it feels great. Just use some type of cleaning solvent to give it a nice wipe down if you sweat a little bit. The battery flat out sucks but I bought an external battery that last all day that I just keep in my pocket. This is a wonderful tool. Especially helps when I wake up the warmth and vibration loosen my lower back muscle so I can actually walk. I’ve had mine for a couple of months. I’ve Thugged on the cord accidentally a few times and it still seems to be holding up great. Between this device and a tens unit pain is pretty manageable. Must be realistic about your pain relief expectations. If you catch the pain at its onset, this device can help you get through whatever you need to. But if you wait until it’s a full on back pain, it doesn’t do much help.

Heating and Massage in a Wearable Therapy Belt
This is my second Comfytemp cordless heating pad. We somehow lost track of the charging unit for the first one when it sat for a long while without being used. It's no good without the battery pack, and ordering just a replacement on its own wasn't working out well, so I ordered a whole new one on sale. At some point we will find the other battery, and we'll have two working heating pad belts - one for my husband, and one for me. Meanwhile, I took the first shift today. After charging up the portable battery pack it was time to strap in for a wonderful session of heat on my lower back, which has been bothering me for more than a week. The heat itself felt wonderful, and I could wear the belt while working at my desk. After a while, I decided to turn on the massager feature. Cycling through the different modes was very pleasant. They each offer different soothing sensations, similar to a massage chair, but portable. To take care of my lower back / hips area I needed to use the extender strap, which worked out perfectly. The appearance is utilitarian and gets the job done. It's not like you're going to be wearing it out and about! The belt shut itself off after about 20 minutes. I'm definitely going to enjoy soothing therapy sessions with this heating pad and its wearable style.

Miracle helper for debilitating period pain - died after 1 year 7 months
This has truly saved me when it comes to my period. I have cramps so bad that I can't walk. That isn't an exaggeration, I truly cannot walk even with help because my cramps are so bad. Just starting with this in case someone thinks "oh sure maybe if you have baby cramps it works." Also, I have a big stomach. With the expandable strap, this fits perfectly and the heat and massage is enough to get through the stomach fat to my muscles and uterus. Between this heating pad, all the OTC pain relievers on the market, and a gummy, I can actually get through my day now. By far the heating pad is the most important component. I make sure to charge the power source the day before my period starts. I will say that if you use it continuously it does need to be recharged about every 4 to 5 hours. That's with me having it on heat and massage both the whole time (yes, not recommended but if you have pain like I do then you know how it is.) Since it's just a power bank, you may be able to plug in a different one as a backup but I haven't tried it. (Edit: I tried it with a power bank and it worked! I now keep a backup at all times!) Even the lowest setting can make my skin really hot (it's that powerful), so I always wear thick sweat pants and a long shirt so I have multiple layers of fabric between my body and the heat source. There are other heating pads that you can strap on your body that are smaller and aren't noticeable under clothing. This is not that. Those ones weren't big enough for me and weren't powerful enough either. This is a heavy duty one that I wear on top of clothing while working from home. If you're worried about aesthetics, this is not the right choice for you. But if you have pain as bad as I do, I suspect you won't care and will simply do anything for pain relief. If that's what you want then I can't recommend this enough! Edit: it's been nearly a year now and still going strong! Works just as well as ever and I now keep a backup power bank so when one dies I just throw it on the charger and plug in the other one. This heating pad gave me back the week that my period used to steal from me and I will forever sing its praises! Final edit: 1 year and 7 months later the buttons are malfunctioning. It started a couple months ago where I had to press both buttons twice for them to work. Now I have to do it over and over until it finally works and I can see the lights in the panel glitch a bit. Everything I said above is true and I'm buying a new one. To be clear, I used this every single month for 5-7 days about 8-16 hours at a time. If you only use this occasionally it'll probably last much longer. Conversely, if you plan on using this every single day for back pain, this might not be as durable as you'd like. It's still a 5 star product for me.

Great heat and massage!
This heating pad has been a lifesaver for my husband. He wears it first thing in the morning for about 40 minutes before showering, and it has really helped him be more mobile. It is cordless, so he can wear it while working. The massage setting feels great, and the highest heat setting heats up nicely. It is comfortable, not too bulky, so you can hide it under clothing if needed, and easily adjustable. My husband is 200lbs and I am 125 lbs, and the heating pad adjusts enough so that both of us can use it. I would definitely give it five stars if the battery lasted longer. Unfortunately, forty minutes is about all you get out of a full charge.

Additional power bank strongly needed. It discharges rapidly during use. Charging takes much time.
Power bank battery is not available in amazon. Please provide it online. We need additional power bank to use with this pad. No matching power banks found online to purchase. We need one or two additional power bank. Cofytemp store mot available in India.

Awful battery but great heat when it works
The battery pack is just awful it doesn’t last long at all. Charging takes 6 hours and even on the lowest heat setting this doesn’t last more than a couple hours. The belt heat however is surprisingly good. Hot enough on the lowest setting that if it is on direct skin and you are leaning on it then much more would burn so that’s great heat. The vibration is quite nice but it is loud for public use. But overall with another battery pack this does give good heat and vibration. For the price I’m pretty annoyed with the cheap rubbish battery pack.
