I bought these rifflers to remove part line flash on an HO scale boiler casting that runs between rivets and other fine details, so it's pretty important to be able to work with the fine pointed ends of the tools. The diamond particles do remove metal quickly, and they cut in both directions - an advantage over files. In hindsight it would have been better to pick one or two higher quality rifflers with the shapes I was most interested in.
