I have the screw off cap style so, yeah, they could. The flip up style cap wouldn't have the clearance to be opened. **Q: Can this be bolted to the rear bumper of my motor home. The bumper is 6 inches wide and flat on top.** A: The bracket is just over 6" wide and just over 14" long. It has holes for securing it on the bottom and on the sides of the bracket.
