Both the dual-zone chest and back protectors have a rigid central zone with a flexible soft compound around the perimeter and are backed by a soft bio-foam padding. Owned it about few years now still looks good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable, adjustable, breathable and my most important it’s very protective. *by T***Y on September 17, 2024* First off I’ll start by saying I’m 6’0 218lbs (a little fluffy) and the XL fits pretty perfect. A little long on the sleeves, but you don’t notice it. The quality of the base layer material is decent, definitely not top tier but it’s strong enough from what I can tell so far. I do trail and enduro riding so the CE level 2 is perfect for what I do and having the extra protection at my ribs, rotator cuffs and elbows just makes the ride that much more enjoyable. You will get a boost of confidence without a doubt after having it on. The biggest piece of advice I can give is wear the chest and back armor over your jersey!! You will see what I mean after you put it on. Overall 4/5 stars.
