The realistic eyes are a great plus. The gills, texture, and shape are quite good. The overall fit on an adult head is good. It does reek of rubber/vinyl odor, but it's only been out of its package for one day. You have to expect that to take weeks to go away. Its big shortcoming is comfort. It is very hard to see through the eye openings cut just above the plastic eyes, and it would not be practical to enlarge them without ruining the look of the mask. It is also hard to keep on your head for more than 5 minutes at a time because there isn't enough air flow through it. I don't wear whole-head rubber masks much, so maybe I am just not used to it. I cut a few slits into the undersides of the gills where they don't show, to let some more air in, but I'm going to work on that more.
