But the whole point of it is so that you don’t need to use a cover. The pad is wipeable and cleanable. One less thing to constantly launder!! **Q: How do I unstick the adhesive now that I want to remove the pad from my counter?** A: You are able to use a plastic scraper with goo-gone adhesive remover spray to remove the changing pad from the surface. **Q: Is this pad pretty soft for the baby to lay on?** A: It’s not super soft, but for some reason my baby seems to calm down when placed on it. **Q: For those parents who have used this for some period of time, has there been any stains on the pad or dresser?
