I will say the Magic Arm is robust and well made. **Q: How do the ball sockets at each end tighten to ensure what is attached doesn't slip out of position?** A: just twist the the fly knob and there is a crimp in the barrel and it tightens up everything it is very stable **Q: Is this suitable for a projector? I have the nebula capsule projector** A: Technically - yes it would take it as there is a 1/4" mount on the bottom, and when tightened it locks into place quite securely. But why not just use a tripod?
