I wanted something like this to mount a white flash reflector panel over and area I use for macro-photography in my home studio. This works very well for that but you have to be realistic. Although quite strong this will never be as rigid as a true tripod. Yet this one is quite strong so perfect for the function I put it too since the reflector is very lightweight. I am not sure about mounting heavy cameras on it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's pretty good, but there's three Issues I had that you may want to be aware of... *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 June 2023* I only have three issues that may be a deal breakers for some people, other than them the stand is pretty good.1. It's not 360 degrees in all directions... so there's five nodes (a node, in this context, means a point where you can change the direction of the stand).The third and fourth nodes are 360 degrees but only in one direction.The fifth node is like... 135 degrees in all directions, facing up.The 1st and 2nd node are 360 degree in one direction, but they rotate in opposite directions and since they're positioned closely together, together they're basically 360 degrees in all directions.What this means is you made not be able to position your camera exactly where you want it.2. This'll be a short one, there's a couple bumps and cuts that implies that I got some sort of second-hand stand... I'm not going to return it, because the stand works but it's something to look out for. The box was fully intact and undamaged, so there's a good change that the seller provided a working... second-hand desk mount stand.3. The desk mount itself is a circle (and there's a square underneath that) that is about 3x the size of the width of my finger. This is important, if you have a wall under your desk or something like I do. Please see the video to understand what I mean better.Other than that, for me the stand still does the job, so I'm going to keep it and it's not necessarily a bad buy.
