I like the longer handle.
I have carpel tunnel, so crocheting can really cause my hands and arms to hurt to the point I can't crochet for days (which I hate). The longer handle allowed me to relax my grip more and to comfortable change between knife and pencil hold - that allowed me to crochet longer, which was my desire. The only negative for me, which again is due to pain, is that the thinness of the hook still hurts more than using a hook with a fatter handle. Also, having use Boye and those similar, getting use to the difference in the neck of the hook and how you have to change slightly your grabbing the yarn took me a minute to get use to. With the head being in line with the hook instead of sitting up slightly, I had to 'reach' more to grab the yarn. Not a huge issue, just something to note if you are use to a different style

Best hooks ever!
I love the hooks. I only purchase Susan Bates hooks and was really pleased when these came out. I was having to buy cushions for my hooks. The soft touch makes crocheting easier.

Love it, my new favorite hook
The handle is so comfortable. The length of the hook is just perfect. For me, this hook makes my work faster and more efficient. I'm going to get more hooks in other sizes. Definitely worth the low price.

Best ever!
This INLINE is my new favorite, best ever. I bought the etimo tulip and its a good hook. I cant get used to the tapered hook on it though. Yarn sliding off, not catching. Ive always used the inline and this susan bates in an inch longer up at the metal hook side. Has the comfort grip...love that.

Love this style hook
This in-line sleek headed hook works best for me. The handle isnโt soft like foam rubber but does increase the comfort & I can crochet longer.

Good grip, easy to use
These are my favorite crochet hooks for the price. The ends have a nice point which makes it easy to insert into the stitch, and the hook grabs onto yarn really easily. Only gripe is I had to sand down the bottom of the hook a little (I just used a nail file) because itโs a bit rough/sharp and can snag. But if you get one like that just file it down a smidge and youโre good to go.

Best brand!
This is the beat brand I have found. I will not use anything different. The hook keeps the yarn on as my stitches work through the yarn. Other brands lose the yarn.

Completes a set of different sizes
Good except for way too sharp edges of hooks -just needs a bit of gentle filing.

Short neck makes sloppy stitches.
The hook as a slightly more pointed head, which makes pushing through stitches easier but the real difference is in the inner mouth of the hook. Most are quite rounded but this one is sharper and crisper edges to it and not as wide open. I love the head of this hook. The hook is a bit thinner than many ergonomic hooks but still has a comfortable rubber sleeve over it. The yarn doesn't slip off the hook as much. I can push through single crochet stiches easier and its not splitting through the yarn as much which I like. BUT - there's a deal breaker. The neck of the hook is short, so if your doing treble crochets the top loop pushes over the flared part of the hook, the section where the size of hook is normally stamped. This makes that last loop loose and it looks sloppy. So I love the head of this hook but hate the short neck (the haft?) The picture doesn't show it so buyer beware. This might hook might work for someone with a cramped crochet style or super tight tension but its not for me and I wont use it. I wish I could put the head of this hook on my regular ergonomic hooks.
