From what I can make out it is Teflon fabric tape and is sometimes used in vacuum sealer machines. I do not have a vacuum sealer, instead I took a punt on this tape being tough and nonconductive. Thank fully I was correct. I am using it in my electronic hobby pieces to separate circuit boards from the metal tin they are sat in so that they don’t short out. I tested the tapes conductivity with a multi meter and detected none, as such itis perfect for this job. Adhesion is good and it can even be repositioned several times without leaving residue and without loss of adhesion. It's good stuff, I'm glad I found it.
