Pretty simple, followed them and paired the remote to the fan. Turned the breaker back on the main house panel for power and pushed the remote on button. Fan light turned on.I played with the functions on the remote control... I struggled with getting the backlight to work and no dimming features, at all to work. I played with this for some time but never got it to work right. So I contacted desertcart customer service, sent a message through there app and withing 2 hours they called me. And told me what I had to do. So I did. I reached out to the manufacturer who is TALOYA. I wrote them a long message stating what was wrong with my fan and the issues I was having with the remote not turning on the backlight feature, plus the dimming of the lights themselves weren't working. The ability to change the color temp of the light is very nice and it's plenty bright. Moves a lot of air for a small room. No wobble. Higher quality (more expensive) fans have a final piece of trim to hide the screws, but I appreciate the savings more than that.
