My previous one held for 4 years of heavy use.Best of all it is easy to navigate around the menu even without looking at it.If you are looking for mp3player to use during your jogging or fitness this is the one for you. They are the 'largest' size you can get for MP£ players working on AA Abatteries. All the rest nowadays are just battery pack. Even though I am techie I still prefer that when my MP3 player dies, I just replace the battery. I always carry one spare, however you can find AAA batteries from practically anywhere. With use, the Power button tends to fail :(... that is why this is my third one... However I noticed that this time the software has changed into the more 'mass produced' Asian MP3 Players. I have other also 3 of these Asian MP3 players used elsewhere. The changes might not be an issue, however here are highlighted. The older version had when you click Pause or Stop the music stopped immediately; while now it fades down. Also with the older version had when you click Pause or Stop the music restarted from the exact place you stopped it, while now it goes around 5 seconds behind.
