Extremely nervous using it but that soon disappeared, easy to use nice consistency to work with and cured perfectly to the nail ( I dehydrated and primed the nails before using as instructed) couldn’t be happier , smooth levelled finish , definitely recommend. It’s quite thick but it self levels and it’s not sticky and messy.. it all stayed in the pot rather than on the table hahah ;) I used it over natural nails to give them some volume and strengthen them as they are quite flat and weak. This cures for 1min in my combined led/uv lamp very well. Doesn’t create bubbles like others I’ve used. If I can do I need to use foundation first then top?** A: Once the Builder Gel is cured, you may apply a lacquer or a Gelish color coat on top of it. A base coat will not be necessary for this step. **Q: do i have to buy anything else? i just bought the hard gel, is there an other necessary thing or i just can use and apply the gel directly to the nail** A: You'll want a brush to apply it. They're fairly cheap, you can get one at your local craft store or WalMart. It doesn't have to be anything specific. You'll also need either a UV (At LEAST a 36 watt) or LED light to cure the gel, rubbing alcohol to clean the nail and some lint free wipes and a primer. I prefer Young Nails primer. I've been using it for awhile now with zero lifting. You'll also want some nail files for finishing. 100/180 grit for shaping and a 240 grit for smoothing out the nail. Maybe even a buffing block if you want, but it's not necessary. A top coat is nice too. It’s thick, slowely self levelling. Will leave the surface with a smooth finish. After a bit of practice easy to aply. If you prime your nails well the gel will not lift.
