Review: Multitool - Good value, working well, recommended Review: Great quality - Excellent quality for the price well made and works well very pleased with this. ## Features - Multifunction: This CM2K0R Ammeter accurately measures alternating current (DO NOT MEASURE CONTINUOUS CURRENT) AC/DC voltage, capacitance, resistance, diode continuity and line phase. Very useful tool and tester for solving industrial and domestic electrical problems. - LARGE OPENING: The wide opening of the clamp meter measures the alternating current in a conductor without touching or interrupting the circuit. Its slim and compact size makes it easy to use in tight spaces. - Easy to use: Supports data hold, Max/Min, automatic shutdown, low battery indicator and continuity buzzer. Practical features such as audible and visual alarm, backlit LCD screen, and flashlight make your usage easy. Two 1.5V AAA batteries are included in the package. - MORE SECURITY: The non-contact voltage tester (NCV) allows contactless testing with audible and light alarm. When the multimeter detects a low AC signal, the green LED light turns on and the warning device emits a slow, audible beep. When the multimeter detects a strong AC signal, the red light will light up and the buzzer will beep fast. - ADDITIONAL TIPS: This Metrix has passed environmental pollution degree 2 safety standards and surge grade III 600V. Combined with desertcart's excellent delivery, we provide lifetime technical support. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08MTTX66X | | Best Sellers Rank | 10,836 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 18 in Multi Testers | | Brand | AstroAI | | Colour | red | | Compatible Devices | Electrical components and circuits | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 8,885 Reviews | | Included Components | 2000 Counts Clamp Meter, Test Leads (Pair), User Manual, Storage Bag | | Item Dimensions | 6.8 x 2.9 x 19.5 centimetres | | Item Highlight | Digital Multimeter Measures AC/DC Voltage, AC Current, Resistance, Capacitance, Continuity, Voltage Tester, Live Wire Test | | Item Weight | 415 Grams | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 6.8 x 2.9 x 19.5 centimetres | | Item weight | 415 Grams | | Manufacturer | AstroAI | | Manufacturer Part Number | CM2K0R | | Maximum Alternating Current | 2000 Amps | | Maximum Operating Voltage | 600 Volts | | Measurement Type | Multimeter | | Minimum Operating Voltage | 2 Volts | | Model Number | CM2K0R | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Power source | Battery Powered | | Specification Met | 600V surge category III | | Style | Compact | | Style Name | Compact | | Unit Count | 2000.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** AstroAI - **Colour:** red - **Item weight:** 415 Grams - **Power source:** Battery Powered - **Style:** Compact ## Images ![AstroAI Clamp Meter 2000 Counts Auto-Ranging with NCV Backlit, CAT III 600V - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71FHPzC6xTL.jpg) ![AstroAI Clamp Meter 2000 Counts Auto-Ranging with NCV Backlit, CAT III 600V - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71gv5cqQy5L.jpg) ![AstroAI Clamp Meter 2000 Counts Auto-Ranging with NCV Backlit, CAT III 600V - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81dxYT2QRGL.jpg) ![AstroAI Clamp Meter 2000 Counts Auto-Ranging with NCV Backlit, CAT III 600V - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71yjMgw1d-L.jpg) ![AstroAI Clamp Meter 2000 Counts Auto-Ranging with NCV Backlit, CAT III 600V - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Um40Frt-L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What ac line splitter can i buy from amazon that will accommodate this? i want to use the clamp feature.** A: I took a cheap, 2 conductor insulated extension cord and split the middle seam (do not expose any of the wires). Since you must only measure 1 conductor at a time using the clamp, I plug the device I want to test into the extension cord receptacle and the plug of the extension cord into the outlet. The split cord allows me to loop the clamp thru one of the conductors to take measurements. Works great for measuring high current appliances such as portable heater to see how much current is being drawn. **Q: What is maximum amperage the 2000 count will measure?** A: Please note that the 2000 counts model cannot measure DC current. The AC current: 2A/20A/200A/400A. Please contact us via Amazon Message with your request. We will be glad and prompt to help you there. **Q: does this meter do milivolts?** A: I just tested a dead alkaline battery with no load and it read 8.4 MV same as my Fluke Multimeter. **Q: Does this support measuring Amps? I need to measure something that should be between 5 and 25 amps** A: It is a clamp-on ammeter, so it measures AC amps. It can measure up to 20 amps on the low setting and at least 200 amps on the high setting. If you need to measure DC Amps, that is a different question. I don't think it measures DC Amps, but I have not verified. You measure amps by clamping the jaws around a single conductor. This is the standard method for a clamp on ammeter. If you need explanation of this then search google or YouTube how to use a clamp-on ammeter. If you are seeking an ammeter that you wire in to the circuit, this is not that kind of ammeter. I hope that answers your Q. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Multitool *by P***E on 7 December 2025* Good value, working well, recommended ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality *by J***N on 19 July 2025* Excellent quality for the price well made and works well very pleased with this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth having *by P***. on 8 March 2025* I'm very impressed with the kit - multi function and well made ## Frequently Bought Together - AstroAI Digital Clamp Meter Multimeter 2000 Counts Amp Voltage Tester Auto-ranging with AC/DC Voltage, AC Current, Resistance, Capacitance, Continuity, Live Wire Test, NCV, Blue - AstroAI 8Pcs Multimeter Test Leads Set with Alligator Clips, Plunger Mini Hooks and Test Probes 1000V 10A CAT III & CAT IV 600V for Fluke, KAIWEETS, INNOVA Multimeter, Voltmeter, Clamp Meter - AstroAI Digital Multimeter Tester 2000 Counts with DC AC Voltmeter and Ohm Volt Amp Meter; Measures Voltage, Current, Resistance, Continuity and Diode, Blue --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.es/products/505738054-astroai-clamp-meter-2000-counts-auto-ranging-with-ncv-backlit](https://www.desertcart.es/products/505738054-astroai-clamp-meter-2000-counts-auto-ranging-with-ncv-backlit) --- *Product available on Desertcart Spain* *Store origin: ES* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
