Easy read and with useful analysis. I have an 11 year daughter and starting to see the teenage years hitting. As a parent, I need to change my approach and handling of her massive increase in sensitiveness. The whole chapter about re-wiring of pre-frontal cortex at teenager phase makes me realise I need to be a lot more understanding about the mood swings and varying between the contradicting child regression bursts/desire to not be treated like a child.

This book is very interesting. I have two young girls and i have found this very helpful getting an insight into how to help them as they grow. The pressure in life they will come under will be immense and a guide book like this to help you along the way has very helpful tips and advice.
