## Questions & Answers

**Q: is this supposed to work out of the box?**
A: Yes. I bought mine a long time ago but it was old stock and came with a dead battery. I replaced it and it worked fine after that.

**Q: How large is this?  The dimensions above seem to refer to packaging.**
A: This a hand held device.  It is approximately 2-1/4" X 2-3/4".

**Q: Does it have a silence feature?**
A: It does. You can silence both the alarm, and the hourly chime. Learning Resources dot com has a PDF instruction guide that will tell you how to turn off the alarm, turn off the chime, and set the date and clock.

This is a great gift for a youngish child who likes stopwatches. It was reasonably priced (forgotten exactly), large size, does multiple things, I've left it upto my daughter to play with it, so not sure of it's capabilities. Good toy with learning capabilities for timing.

My 7 year old daughter has found this one of the most entertaining toys she has received this Christmas. Reasonably priced too! Santa could have saved a lot of money on a lot of the other stuff he got her!! She times herself doing everything and times her brother's laps round the scalextric circuit. Hours of fun!
