I have the Karndean Van Gogh Classic Oak VGW86T floor, which is great, don't get me wrong, but blimey, is it prone to staining and smudging... I had this Rattan rug with a latex -antislip- under carpet for a couple of years, and then upom deciding to remove it I found out that the latex had stained the floor, with the dreaded "waffle" imprint! Anything I did, including rubbing, Domestos, alcohol, would not remove the damage which was quite visible. I actually contacted Karndean who said "we are sorry, but this type of damage means replacing the floor, sorry you have had such a bad experience". I then started doing some research and there it was; the Karndean starter pack on desertcart. I read the glorious reviews and, yet, I was so skeptical... I was saying "how is this product -the remove and refresh actually- "going to sort out this eyesore of a mesh?" I reluctantly poured 200mls of the remove product into about a litre of water and generously and liberally started spreading it with a mop, making sure it does not dry, as the instructions advised. I then mopped all the residue with a clean mop 3 or 4 times with clean water, then let it dry out. The waffle pattern was a conspicuous as ever, albeit with no dull shine of wear (a common problem with Karndean floors) or any smudges. I said OK, it cannot be made any worse, and I started applying theb "refresh" product with the applicator. Oh my god... This was a thick, milky product that reminded me of the "parketin" product which my mom used to apply on our oak floor back in the 80's and, blimey, within 30 minutes the floor looked as good as new; no smudges and, most importantly, no waffle pattern. I could not believe my eyes. One single application of the refresh product and this was simply a miraculous result. What an outcome! 6 out of 5 guys. Take my word for it. Review: Great cleaning power - I used this a few weeks ago and was very pleased with the immediate results - the kitchen floor had a lovely sheen to it. It's not difficult to use, but very time-consuming to complete the whole procedure, worth it I thought though for the superb results. However, the effect hasn't lasted as long as I had hoped and on the areas of the floor that get a lot of use, it now looks like it needs doing again, which, as I mentioned earlier, is quite time-consuming so not something I would want to tackle more than a couple of times a year. However, we found that we used a lot more of the refresh product and therefore need to purchase more. Plenty of the other bottles left for use again. **Q: Can you buy replacement mop pads?** A: You can from the karndean on line shop I believe, but you can also just wash the pads and reuse. **Q: Can you use on any other flooring** A: This can be used on any vinyl flooring such as luxury vinyl tile, lino etc **Q: LVT installed less than a month and its already fading in the middle. I have tried many different cleaning products and had no real great results....until now! this floor cleaning system is awesome! it has made the floor look better than it ever has before. it has a beautiful shine and feels brand new again. the system is easy to use but takes time. i would advice you to take your time and follow the instructions to the letter as it is quite expensive. the applicator is small, but i still found my standard bucket was not big enough. i used a paint tray in the end for the restorer. the process is easy. get rid of your family and pets. this is going to take several hours (i left mine over night). sweep and remove dirt. apply stripper/remover liberally. RINSE and then RINSE. you don't want this to dry on. apply the restorer brushing in one direction only. WAIT FOR IT TO DRY. this was a couple of hours for me now apply a second coat, this time going across the direction you did last time (North to South, then East to West. does that make sense?) leave it over night, try not to walk on it or let the dog come in from the garden straight over it. the shine is perfect!! not over the top, but a beautiful finish.
