Review: Perfect for the older Lego builder! - I saw this in the store, and knew that I must have it. desertcart Prime got it to me in a little over a day, and it took around 2 weeks to build, a hour or so each night after work. There are some parts that kids might feel difficult, but I'm relatively certain that Lego intended this for the 20-something manchild Star Wars fan Lego builder, which I definitely am. The set is made of *FOUR* manuals, so you'll be busy for awhile. This is nowhere near sturdy enough to play with, and is intended for use as a static display model, which it does very impressively. I was only missing two or three parts (non-critical) so I e-mailed Lego customer support about that. Other than that, it can be hard to distinguish colours in the manual (dark-grey, grey, and black) but a little intelligence on your part and looking at the parts list in the back of manual #4 will help you figure it out. I gave it five stars for durability because the set itself is made of durable Lego pieces, but the unit as a whole was never intended to be played with. Review: Another Great UCS Model - This is a great model that looks amazing. While slightly repetitive with the wings, it was a fun build. The stand allows the ship to be displayed perfectly with the wings in flight mode and gives a great perspective to view it. I wish they could have done something like that with the UCS Falcon. The figures are a nice add-on, although the shuttle only seats 4 so somebody has to stay behind to guard the landing gear. You can fit 24 in the more spacious troop transport. **Q: Why is this so grossly over priced?** A: This set has not been produced by Lego for several years, so there is a very limited number of unopened sets - thus the price goes up. **Q: how about box condition??** A: That's the one bad thing about this set, along with the 10240 UCS Xwing fighter.
