I use it on my hands when my knuckles are red and raw. Any kind of hand cream stings but this balm does not. I rub it on the backs of my hands and then put cotton gloves on. It's really soothing. For those like me who are ultra-sensitive to odours (even unscented products have slight odours from their ingredients), this isn't completely odourless. It has a very mild, very pleasant aromatic odour from the ingredients.
