## Questions & Answers

**Q: Could these pens be used on the Chessex battlemat?**
A: As long as the surface is non-porous (vinyl, glass, plastic, etc.) it should be fine. The ink will be removable.  Be aware that some cheap/low quality materials may be more porous than they look.  Always test on a small part first (perhaps underneath) if unsure.

**Q: I want a water soluble pen**
A: Ok

**Q: Can these be used on laminated paper then easy wipe-off?**
A: Hi there, thanks for your question. Yes our Lumocolor non-permanent pens can be used on almost all laminated surfaces including laminated paper, and can be wiped off using a damp cloth.

**Q: Are these similar to Pilot  Frixion? I'm looking for an alternative that's nicer to write with.**
A: Sorry never used Pilot Frixion.  The Staedtler 316 have a very fine tip but I use them on my permanent calendar so I can wipe off easily.

Just in case any other reflexologists out there are looking for pens to draw reflex zones on the feet I thought I'd let you know how suitable these are for that purpose. They're a bit thin, therefore scratchy and tickly - I would look for a thicker one next time. Otherwise they draw well on the skin and wipe/wash off reasonably easily. However I did find that they ran out sooner than I would have expected - we got through one whole pair of feet with two of the pens and then these were pretty much out of ink. After another pair of feet only one of the 4 pens has a good line left. A second pack being used by another pair of reflexologists performed slightly better. I know they were being used for an odd purpose but I expected more use out of them. Staedtler are a good make. And if you're not a reflexologist drawing on peoples feet - why not take it up as a career? It's fun :)
