The larger area gives me room for larger projects, not just bracelets, book marks or earrings. The 45 degree work angle is so much easier on by back and neck than the flat one. The loom sides are made from a small particle MDF and is nicely shaped, no raw edges to catch on anything and left plain for you to personalise yourself. The cross bars are wood with 3 well attached studs and the work area has springs over screws. All of the fittings have wing nuts, which allow you to tighten your work and will accommodate working longer pieces. The kit does not tell you how to assemble the loom but the picture is very clear. It comes with a booklet, 2 spools of thread, 2 tubes of seed beads 11/0, a couple of patterns, graph paper for your own designs, a magnet to stick to the side of the loom to hold needles and 2 needles. The eyes of the needles are very small and not suitable for a needle threader, I have ordered the longer needles with the bigger (flexible) eyes. The beads are your standard cheap glass beads and great for practising. The booklet has some history of beading as well as basic instructions, you can always find videos on You Tube to help you learn visually. A quite pricey ricks loom and a cheap and cheerful more portable loom. Both of these looms are great but after a while my back, neck and shoulders start to ache. This loom is such a good design! I can be on it for 8 hours straight without being in pain! The other pluses are the lovely presentation, the kit that comes with it so you can start bead weaving straight away and the handy little magnet is so useful. Can’t recommend this enough! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very useful *by M***M on 19 September 2020* This loom is very practical. It arrived on time and well-packaged, and was easy to put together. There is enough in the package to start beading immediately, and replacement beads, needles etc are widely available elsewhere. I liked the fact that the grooves were small enough to easily accommodate warps for size 11/0 beads. Due to the shape it is very easy to work with and saves a lot of back ache. Good documentation is provided as well.
