They do work but are quite tight when fitting into the slot but it does slide and works OK. I think they also said that 13/6mm would have been OK as well. WE do not use our stapler that often, we have stapled material to a wooden headboard and stapled bunting to wooden beams at a wedding last year, all OK, hope this helps. **Q: you use the stapcanles with a hilka hammer tacker** A: Good morning, Since I do not have access to the specifications for your tool, I cannot confirm whether or not these staples will be compatible.
