The tears did start to fray a little after the first wash, and the waist band is a bit tighter than I'd have liked, but otherwise they're really cute and perfect for fashion leggings. They have kept their color well so far without fading, the tears haven't gotten too much bigger, the fabric holds its shape well (again, so far). Although they look like jeans, they fit like leggings and feel and wear like polyester.
