What is the difference between this charger and the original one

I am not sure. This product has direction that specify to plug into wall first then your speaker for the first charge. I had plugged mine in and the green light on the charger blinked. It took over 24 hrs to charge my extreme 2. I had actually unplugged it thinking it was not compatible. I plugged back in overnight and it worked..

Nice replacement charger

For some reason my oem charger decided to stop working so I had to order a replacement. This option was very affordable, compatible with my JBL, and quick to deliver. It charges equally as fast as the oem and is easy to store when not in use. Really nice function able charger. I’d just recommend verifying which chargers work with which devices to confirm comparability before purchasing.

Fast charger that works well with JBL speaker

Perfect! A JBL speaker is no good without a charger and my original one had died. This charger arrived quickly and worked as expected, charging completely and quickly. The cord is long enough for my use and connects securely. I highly recommend.
