Charged 10 hours, then flipped the breaker to simulate a blackout. The bulbs turned on and off (repeatedly) just fine using the light switch. Looking forward to the next time the power grid goes down while I'm in the shower. :)

Not to mention, you have to manually switch them from a “normal can light” into a “flashlight mode,” which defeats the purpose entirely. Do not waste your time or money on these they are complete trash. Look elsewhere for a better option.

I just installed a set of three in various parts of the house. I put each bulb on a switch with only a single light socket because other people had said it works better detecting blackouts correctly if there are no other light bulbs on the same switch. Charged 10 hours, then flipped the breaker to simulate a blackout. The bulbs turned on and off (repeatedly) just fine using the light switch. Looking forward to the next time the power grid goes down while I'm in the shower. :)
