Didn't know they liked peanuts. I have seen a number of reviews that mention snacking by humans. These peanuts are raw and are sold as wildlife feed. The item description states "NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION". The tag sewn to the top of the bag also warns against eating raw peanuts. . Raw peanuts may contain a mold (aflatoxin). Not good for you.. All peanuts sold for human consumption have been roasted, eliminating the mold problem. An exception: some health food stores sell raw shelled peanuts. These are intended to be roasted at home by the purchaser.
