The USB ports will then convert that to a usable 5VDC for your normal USB-powered devices. Great! The power sockets, however, will port that AC voltage as-is WITHOUT stepping it down to 120VAC. Is that a problem? No... Not really. You're going to be plugging things into this that have internal voltage converters like laptops, chargers, or other wall warts that support 120-240VAC. The conversion doesn't need to happen inside this unit since it will be happening inside the power supply for your electronic device. That said, if you're outside the US, don't be plugging anything into this that doesn't support 120-240VAC. Check the back of each power supply you connect and make sure it's compatible. **Q: Has anyone had issues with the usb outlets? I’ve had times were I thought my phone was charging only to find it wasn’t. I had to unplug and replug.** A: Mine does the exact same thing. The USB-C outlet works 100% of the time. But after about 3 plug ins, the USB-A ports quit charging, and in order to make them work again, you have to unplug the USB-A port, and plug it back in. This defeats the whole purpose of buying this device. I am going to return it. **Q: Will this work in India?** A: It will not.. you have to buy a adapter as it has a Type B plug (2 prongs and a round pin for grounding) **Q: Is it okay to use for iPhone 14?** A: Yes the USB-C port will allow a user with an iPhone 14 to charge the phone.
