Several of my coworkers actually told me about this ratchet, and after trying theirs, I had to buy one. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth, and it switches directions without much effort. It is super easy to extend the ratchet, and it locks into place pretty easily. This thing is also super strong, I’ve had it fully extended while putting all of my 250 pound frame on the end of it, and it held up and kept working without any issues.
