Ms. Silver, this is your style of writing but with a fascinating and exciting twist. I wish you would give us a bit more (like another book) on the life of Tamara, Donovan and their children (please pretty please... consider it, write it and publish it), I would appreciate it greatly and enjoy being consumed by more of their story (yes, it is her style of writing, but she went somewhere in her head space for this story... please venture there again).Ms. Silver took a trip to another realm of earth and was able to capture and relay the lifes of another being in another realm, with some really unique, antagonistic and powerful humans with a dash of drama that is so exciting and refreshing to just dive into their story. Oh my word, it's a lot of dry but quirky humor that will have you laughing to tears. You can't help being absorbed into their lifestyle, the drama, the intensity of their emotions and at every twist and turn, there is a surprise waiting to knock you off your feet.Donovan, the warrior, the protector of all he holds dear, the consummate lover and mate... Ooohlalalaa... If only, hmm hmmm. Tamara and her sidekick are a hoot and just too cute (raving lunatics and fiend). Nicola you have yet to arrive but you refuse to hold your punches, continue with your fierce self. Nicolai, ever the subdue, calm and rational one but with a protective streak a mild wide.It goes without saying... Our heroine is visited in the night by a man who makes love to her. She is totally into it, but doesn't know who he is. Then, he takes her away from her home and holds her prisoner in his home. They continue to get to know each other.The hero is not an average man. In fact, he isn't from Earth. He knows, though, that Tamara is his fated lifemate, foretold by his people. He is also very much in love with her.Tamara has to be very strong, with all the strange stuff happening to her. One way she deals with stuff is an hilarious internal dialogue. She is a crack-up. Another funny thing is that a lot of sex seems to be important to her adjustment to Donovan's people. They are both enthusiastic participants.I can't tell you much about details without ruining the story, but there is action, battles, an evil woman trying to get the hero for herself, and a lot more. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My King, My Lover.... *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2016* This is a book that kinda throws you off for a second. But...Make no mistake about it, this is a fun read in my opinion. I love the Alpha character in the book. He has a take no prisoner's kinda attitude. He is a man of few words, who lets his actions do the talking. While our Heroine has subconscious talks with her VJayJay, Now I would not normally think of this as being entertaining. But to be honest, I had to laugh. We often hear about how men think with their genitalia, in this case the V was tellin it how it was from her view. She pulled no punches, although slightly skewed at times, the V voiced what our heroine didn't always want to readily admit to herself in the beginning. In the end, love conquers all.
