Please expose the mushrooms in the sunlight for a few hours, if they still dont glow please contact us via message or kindly send us an email to info@treepoetry.us and we will assist you. The glow they give off will not disturb the plant life and actually over time the glow becomes less. They are super cute and would add a touch of whimsy. **Q: Do they have a solid bottom** A: Yes. They each have a single prong that comes out of the bottom for stabilizing in the ground, but the mushroom isn’t hollow. It’s all one solid piece. **Q: Why after emailing the seller on August 15 re: the item not glowing & after following all the suggestions did they not email me back?
