It is very solid and I could not bend it noticeably. So, it is a full 60" long, but about 23 3/4" wide, so just watch out if you're needs are for exact dimensions. It is packed decently with extra care to support the corners during shipping. Mine is undamaged, though one box corner was crunched in enough to tear the cardboard. Fast shipping.Pros: Super looking, as seen in my photos. Very well made corners and sides as well. I'd guess this is a photograph of premium cherry laminated onto a solid piece of PVC and then clear-coated. Both top and bottom have a similar, quality finish. Unbelievable for the price.Cons: Heavy and you may need 2 people to do whatever assembly you plan on.Conclusion: Worth it.Personally, I am upgrading an old desk that has good steel legs but the fake wood has begun to flake and develop sharp edges in spots. Rather than buy a new desk, I'll simply replace the old top with this new one. Since it's PVC, I expect I'll have no issues working with it, screwing it together etc. It's really an easy material to work with. Sad news other reviewers have had shipping damage, and the product seems to have better than average packaging, but you know how it goes. I took the chance and received a perfect product.Update: I like this so much, I ordered a second one. This one had a damaged corner from shipping. I started a claim and got a phone call and email within 12 hours. I simply sent them 2 photos, and had a full refund with the next 24 hours. The customer service rep was outstanding. She was very nice and I could tell she takes customer satisfaction extremely seriously.
