Has screw knobs to regulate **Q: The valve is broken. did not completely turn off. lost one bottle of gas. when turned back on it locked up. is it warranteed only 3-4 months old?** A: I’ve already written a negative review. Lit once and after shutting it off placed it on the workbench for future use, the guarantee was over, the gas had leaked out of the bottle and when putting on a new bottle it would not ignite! Piece of junk and Amazon.com continues to let them market through them. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A propane torch head that works great for me *by on Reviewed in the United States August 9, 2022* Before purchasing this unit, I read through all comments here, and many complaints are about the ignition and shut-off during usage. After I got mine and been using for days, I did not found anything wrong with this torch, if using it properly. In my opinion, this is a great torch with good price. It is a entry-level torch but still can meet most needs for ordinary people like me (i.e. not professionals making a living on this). I found almost all user complaints are rooted to one thing: that this torch is direct-input torch head just as same as the Bernzomatic WT2301. So the bottle pressure dominates everything: Cannot ignite? Just turn to low the gas knob when pushing the trigger. Shut-off when inverted? Of course it will extinguish when inverted, since it does not have anti-flare and that is why it is cost much less than those high end models. Shut-off during using? Check your environmental temperature, this is probably due to the surrounding temperature is too high and the bottle pressure goes up, it is not the torch’s problem but the bottle’s, bring the bottle to some cool place for a while may solve the problem. Similarly, flame is too small? Maybe this is because you are using it in ice cold winter and the low temperature cause the bottle pressure too low, use some hot water to warm up the bottle. See? Almost all complaints can related to the direct input design and could solved easily. you get what you pay for, and you work with what you have at hand, simple as that ### ⭐ Absolute garbage, buyer beware!!! *by on Reviewed in the United States November 8, 2025* Poor quality, please dont waste your money. The igniter works maybe 30% of the time you have to have the perfect weather condition and have to bottle standing exactly upright at all time and if you move even slightly the flame extinguishs. Makes ot completely unstable. There is now returns for this product so do yourself a favor and go buy a better one this one sucks and now im out $20 and I have to go out and buy a new one. Complete waste of money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This propane torch head should be used in upright position! *by on Reviewed in the United States August 4, 2022* Read through the comments, there were some buyers complain that the torch will extinguish when work at inverted position. Does people never read instructions before using? There is a label on the burner tube, clearly stated that this torch is not designed to be used when tilted over 60 degree. Let me explain this to you, this torch is the direct input design which is more budget-saving, it do not have pressure buffer chamber so the LP gas inside the propane cylinder will flow into the tube when inverted, in liquid form! Especially in winter when the temperature is low, the propane may not fully evaporated and will extinguish the flame at the outlet. If you are looking for a propane torch that can work in inverted condition, you should go for some more expensive models which have the anti-flare function or pressure stabilizer designs.As for me, I have no problem with this torch head, it works perfectly in all conditions it supposed to.
