ASICS Men's Snapdown 3 Wrestling Shoes

Just got home and got to put them on. Incredibly comfortable! They are perfectly snug and agile. I am beyond pleased with them. I highly recommend them to anyone that's interested. For this gunmetal grey and black color, the tongue is only open on the outer side, which I am not normally a huge fan of but it really works perfect for these. The soles have excellent grip too. These shoes are perfect for all sorts of athletic sports. They also look very good too. 5 out of 5 stars for me.

These are very nice wrestling shoes. Just got them to wear for my MMA class. I wrestled growing up but have not worn wrestling shoes in over 30 years. These are really nice compared to the shoes I wore back in the 80s and 90s, but I have to say they run very small. I have two pairs for Asics running shoes, both 10.5 size, which are a bit large, could go down to a 10. These wrestling shoes are size 11 and barely fit me. 11.5 would be better but will keep these as they'll stretch. For these shoes, I'd recommend 1 to 1.5 size higher than what you'd normally wear for a sneaker.

I needed a wide shoe. Regular width wrestling shoes are always really narrow. Asics wrestling shoes are all about a full size small, so know that going in, but this model in a shoe a half size larger than my usual size and marked as wide, fits better than any boxing or wrestling shoes I've ever had. The construction is only slightly above average and the tongue is a bit odd, but works well enough. These are a good value and above average fit.

Bought these for my three-sport son who seems to need larger shoes every year for all three sports he plays (obviously these were the newest wrestling shoes.) They fit great and were very flexible, but he didn't wear them very long because he ended up breaking his leg on the second day of practice and now he's out for the season. I'm assuming that his feet will grow again by next season, so if anyone wanted to save money on a set of barely-used quality wrestling - hmu. But if you're looking for a set of new ones - this is a super solid option to purchase.

There is nothing worse for me than shopping for shoes. If a store has my size they don’t have the width I need. I am flat footed and wear a 14 EEEE. All my shoes are bought online. This shoe fits me and is perfect for the gym or mat. Is it snug? Barely. Keep in mind it’s a wrestling shoe. It’s meant to be semi-snug. I can work out in the gym for 1.5hrs and never once think “man, this shoe is tight on my foot”. If you have a wide foot give it a try. Worse case is you get refunded. Best case is you have a new wide shoe you can add in to your mix.

It’s been a long ride but finally I found my son shoes that fit! it’s been very discouraging finding a pair of shoes that fit my son’s wide feet countless visits and calls to every big5 dicks within 100 mile radius calling all the wrestling supply stores across America it’s been A journey ! No one could give me a Definitive answer I tried Rudis ASICS JB adidas hvc hogs ect nothing ! I ordered from this seller several times returning the shoes if they didn’t fit with out any drama finally 6.5 wide ee and my son loves them and he doesn’t have to use the loner shoes in the gym ! Yes I tried to buy the same shoes I borrowed in the gym they only fit my sons feet because they We’re ripping at the seams and his feet Are way too wide for the soles of the shoe! I highly recommend This seller and if you need wide shoes for wrestling Don’t waste your time like I did and grab a pair of these go 2 size up! This shoe is going to mess up your feet very badly. I am a size 11.5 and i ordered size 12 as suggested by reviews. It still fits way too small. So small so that my big toe is near the middle of the shoe. This will create bunions for sure and is very dangerous. Update: I returned the shoes and ordered a full size bigger. I wear 12 in Nike and got these in 13 wide. So far they are a good fit. Really wish the company would revise the sizing. The original shoes felt like my feet were in a child’s sock. Stylistically they look great at least. Update 2: Worth noting that insoles are not compatible with the shoe because the built in soles are glued into the base.

Many reviews mentioned that this shoe is super wide and fits large. I went my true size and it was quite small. I recommend a size up.

I've been doing adult wrestling classes at my BJJ gym barefoot, and I often have some achilles pain the next day. Bought these for the ankle support, and they're GREAT. Highly recommend these to other BJJ athletes for wrestling classes.
