At first, our son was a little unsure of the way they felt against his bare feet. (He has always worn shoes with socks.) After a few minutes, he was zooming around with no difficulty. He has wide chubby feet and they fit great! They are durable and work well in all different terrain (grass, dirt, pebbles, seashore, etc.) My only complaint would be that when he is getting in and out of his toy car, when he's picked up, or put in his car seat- the Crocs fall off easily. So, you need to keep checking to make sure they are on his feet. Realistically fits size 11-12 M kids. My boy was a solid size 13 and couldn't even get these on. Fortunately his friend was size 11 and they fit him perfectly so we didn't have to return them. I bought the next size up, size 1, and my boy's feet are swimming in them, way too big.
