**Q: i saw this item at a thrift store, do you actually use it to bake cakes? won't it stick if you don't put oil around it?**
A: You have to use oil the first couple times but after that the baking seasons it and its surface becomes non porous so cakes won't stick.  While its not seasoned and pourous still be careful not to get it too soapy because it can take on the flavor of soap.  Seasoned properly they are amazing to use.  Hope that helps!

**Q: How to use the bunt pan?**
A: Hi,
Oil before using and I also used olive oil spray.  Baked the cake it baked true to time 60 min.  I  let it set 5 minutes or so then inverted it on plate.  I baked a rum cake and put chopped pecans and brown sugar on bottom then added mixture.  The brown sugar and pecans came out on top.  Then before glazing I put whole pecans on top then glazed.  I did this also in a typical teflon pan and the cake cooked evener and came out better in Pampered Chef.  Clean up was a breeze, better than the teflon too.

**Q: Is it dishwasher safe?**
A: Yes it is. I have run mine through the dishwasher a few times and no problem. However, since this is unglazed stoneware, it is naturally porous, the goal is to 'season' it so that it has absorbed enough oils to make it nearly 'non-stick' and then wipe clean with hot water only, the same way you'd season a cast iron skillet. Using soap or dishwasher taskes all those oils back out.

**Q: Can anyone tell me how many cups this will hold?**
A: It is a standard sized bundt pan measuring 10” across so it holds 12 cups.
