Once switched on takes roughly half an hour to an hour to start working. this product doesn't work instantly it takes a little time to work. its a good reliable item to have around and will obviously keep bacteria from flies away from you. The only downside id say is one gas cylinder lasts a day so you do need to keep refilling and purchasing more of those and the pellets for the top too. I'm happy to replace as I think its the best bug repellent we've had.
