You can still see the indicators so you know what settings the fan is on, but it doesn’t light the room up anymore. Basically, it’s exactly as advertised, it dimmed the lights. Remember the goal of these is not 100% blackout, not even the black ones do that unless you layer multiple ones. However, they dim the light so it’s viewable but not overwhelming. More than likely you still want to see what your device is indicating, just without burning your retinas.
