Review: Quality grappling shorts, good length, good price - I ordered these shorts because 1) blank, no logo 2) much of the buyer feedback was that they were too long for them. I was looking for longer shorts for MMA because I am tall guy and these are a perfect fit. I am happy with the length, they come down just below the top of my knee, if you are under 6'2" you may think these are too long unless you like them that way, which I do. They run true to size in the waist, I wear a 38" and these fit well, not too snug, (definitely not too tight on the gentlemen) not too loose. There is a double velcro system and a drawstring if you like them tighter. I have not rolled in these yet but the fabric is sturdy and seems durable, and there is a 4" slit on the outside of each leg. The quality feels comparable to other "name brands" that will run you $50-$70 dollars to be a walking advertisement. I bought these for function and not form (except I wanted them long), I would like a slightly wider waist band, these have about a 2" waist band. I really like the grey ones, I got the black ones too but not too wild about the sheen on the fabric but its a minor detail and these are for the mat, not the club. Opinion - These shorts fit well, and the features are exactly what I was looking for in a quality product which is what I received. I took a chance on these considering the competition is usually around the $55 mark and was pleasantly surprised by what I received. They've survived 2 tournaments and heavy training, I couldn't recommend them enough for BJJ and MMA training.
