Review: good looking sturdy versatile chairs - These Smoke Caspar Chairs are sturdy, versatile and stylish-- I got the smoke for the place we are renting, I also have clear and yellow. They give the room a sense of expansiveness since they are transparent, but the smoke color keeps them from being invisible. I originally purchased so when my old dad came to visit, he could get up and down, easily since these chairs are solid, as opposed to cushier chairs. Despite the lack of cushioning, I find them comfortable--I'm 5'9" and 145lb. Husband is 6 ft and 180lb. Cats enjoy them as well. You do have to take some care with them-- don't leave them outside for long or they will cloud up. And be careful of things that might scratch them ( acrylic, sadly, does scratch). They ARE stackable, but take care and if stacking for awhile, I'd put some packing paper between them.
