I know in the past, I've used some screens that tear easily. This is a much thicker grade. I know, I had to use scissors to widen a hole I cut because I couldn't tear it further with just my hand strength. It is also very flexible, not starchy or wiry. Review: No tool as was described: Deceptive - The mesh is OK, but I when I ordered the product description included an install tool. It did not. The product information has since been updated and the tool is no longer mentioned.
