Are the paper straws individually wrapped?

No they're not. These drinking straws are so sturdy you could use them more than once. I will be buying more

Where is the documentation for the bpa free claim? i see no evidence to support this claim from an anonymous seller and manufacturer.

BPA is normally an ingredient found in plastics. These are paper straws, 100% biodegradable. I find them to be sturdy, functional and I bought them because I was looking for a good alternative to the plastic straws that my grandchildren go through so fast.

Are these straws gluten free?

this is a new one on me. all i know is that they are paper, tightly rolled. can't imagine they have gluten in them, but how do i know?

Odd question, I know, but how would these be for a small child to cut with a scissors?

They are a durable straw, sturdy enough to rinse and use again. With a sharp pair of sturdy scissors, a child with good hand coordination should be able to cut one in half. No kid scissors.

I bought these straws because I like straws but do not want to go through single use plastic. These are great, they will last through out a full days uses and multiple refills unlike a lot of degradable straws I have seen and used. These are great.
