Engine Runs Great!
Engine showed up well packaged with no damage, engine parts are build very heavy duty with quality. I put shell 15w40 oil in it, put fuel in it, bled the injector; and it fired right up first pull!!! Ran Great, rolls coal, has the classic diesel knockโฆ. the whole nine yards! I canโt wait to use this engine for a future project.

This engine started first pull !!
Got the engine out of its little wooden crate and filled it with oil and diesel. Noticed this engine was test run in the factory, so i figured is was already primed. well, one pull and it started and it runs clean. Turning this bad boy into a pressure cleaner. machined the shaft down to 3/4"

Runs good, leaky tank
Replaced tiller engine with this. Runs strong doesnt bog down at all. Fuel tank leaks from around the cap when tilling if its full.

Has no electrical wire
When the engine arrived would not turn over due to pull cord bolts pushed into cooling fan from shipping a little adjustment and it works fine interior of the motor seems well made runs well rocks bad at low idea

Runs too rich, blows too much black smoke.
Thought I would try this rather inexpensive Diesel engine. It starts and runs ok but blows way too much black smoke under load. It seems to rattle too much also like the timing is advanced too much. If I could reduce the amount of fuel it is getting I think it would be enough to stop the black smoke. I would be happy with it if it did not smoke like it does. I am using it to turn a 40 amp dc generator.

some issues, got resolved
Update: I was sent a replacement engine for free which was undamaged, good communications from the seller Pull start mechanism broke on the 2nd try, near impossible to put back together, the spring loaded screw was not torqued. Other than that its a very nice motor for the price, I sent a message to the seller for a replacement pull start, we'll see how it goes. make sure you go over every bolt with a wrench. Woke up today to find it leaking oil from the crank case seal. I found a sizeable crack on the crank case. Pictures show it all.

Great engine
Great engine. Vibrates a lot but is expected, starts with one or two pulls. Just make sure you use the decompression lever, the compression is insane.

Junk not worth the money
Bought it got it all set up to use then used the motor 3 times then it blue up just pushes oil right out at an idle now
