It adheres quite well to painted walls, so likely even better to OSB. In was very happy with the product, whether using it on painted surfaces or bare wood. Easy to mix, apply, and sand. **Q: I'm using it to "fill in" a popcorn ceiling to make it smooth. How much does the compound cover?** A: Why on earth would you fill in a popcorn ceiling, that is not what this product is for. Scrape it and be done!! **Q: Is this powder?** A: Yes, it is a bag of powder that needs mixing.
