Review: Sturdy and beautiful - The lamp base (no shade) was well packaged and was easy to put together. 6 pieces all together. The instructions were clear enough but the pictures were not. The hardest part was the rod that the shade and finial are attached to but all I did was screw the rod onto the top of the lamp part, took the finial and one of the rubber gaskets off, put the lampshade on, then the gasket then the finial. All the other parts stayed in place. The base is beautiful, and heavy. No fear of tipping on its own. It is just the right height. 5 easy stars!!
Review: Improvement on the original - I had a Tiffany style lamp from Macy's that had a badly designed stand that disintegrated. This perfect replacement is way better. I kept the ornamental top screw from that one as the one that came with this was more over the top. This is very durable and attractive, much better and intelligently made. Has two light sockets rather than the original three but I'm not complaining.

**Q: Is the lampshade made up of real glass ? Why Look Like Plastic?**
A: Yes, these are genuine stained glass. We have to cut the big glass sheets into small pieces and join them together. So Percussion is Depressing. But the glass is twice as heavy as plastic, and it can't be burned or cut with a knife.

**Q: What's the bulb is better?**
A: LED is good, Base: E26 , Temperature Range: 2700 Kelvin (Warm Light)， Wattage: 4-8W , Diameter: G45 Is better.

**Q: Why The Line Is rough？ Why have oil on surface?**
A: The glass is soldered by hand with tin wire, so the surface can't be perfectly smooth. The oil on the surface protects the tin wire from oxidation and can be wiped off with a soft cloth.

**Q: Why is the color of the glass surface uneven?**
A: The color of stained glass is formulated during the glass melting process, which makes it impossible to achieve a uniform color.

Love it for my existing stained glass lampshade. It's old time looking so might not be what your looking for if you want modern but the Tiffany lampshades are old looking.
