Admittedly, I have pretty clear skin and get the rare breakout a few times a year. But when it happens,I need something quick that will resolve the acne quickly. If I apply this balm at early stages (when I just feel tenderness, its fine within 4-6 hours and never develops into an acne bump. If I wait (usually only bc I don't have the tool on nearby) and I have to use it on a full out "what's that massive, red growth on your chin" pimple, I immediately feel relief from the red tenderness, and with repeated uses throughout the day will see it go down within 12-24 hours and be gone within 48 hours.It's best to use this before bed so you can awaken 8 hours later to THE MIRACLE OF CLEAR SKIN. Oh, and no extreme drying and grinding skin as I've experienced with other acne support treatments.All in all, I love this stuff. I buy just about everything this brand makes. I first discovered this product at a friends house. I was already familiar with the brand at the time but wasn't aware of this blemish stick. Let me start off by saying the odor is STRONG and the smell will stick to you all day long. I'm not exaggerating, your house will smell like an essential oil factory. The best way I can describe the smell is to compare it to that of a black licorice stick. You know, the ones your grandma used to always have at her house when you were growing up. I don't mind the smell, I've actually grown to like it. This product will dry your zits out in less than 10 seconds. I like to apply the product over the area, allow it to dry and repeat a few times again in one application. That way, I'm sure to get the product generously onto the area. I make sure to apply a couple times that same day, and usually the zit will be mostly cleared up by the following day.
