The locks work and there were no problems with the installation. **Q: Will they fit aftermarket brand: xfmt ?** A: I believe they will fit stock lowers. **Q: Do these doors stay attached to the lower fairing?** A: Yes. They just replace the soft leather snap on covers. You have to use a key to remove them. I like them because the snaps on my leather covers didn't hold very well. **Q: anyone know if they will fit a 2002 Ultra, they look the same shape?** A: I installed after market lower fairing and they fit perfectly, so you've got stock Harley lowers they'll fit.
