Review: Altamente recomendable Review: Context: I’m very, very, particular about how products work, and how my vehicles / powersports look when I clean them. If I’m cleaning it, I’m waxing or shining it too. I want a product that works. I was skeptical about this product because it’s marketed as a “new bike in a can.” I read about it on a forum where it was suggested to be used to shine plastic. I hadn’t heard of it prior. Specifically, I’m using this product for reference on a snowmobile which was totally transformed by SC1. New (used) sled to me, and it was grimey to say the least. After scrubbing everything down, and drying- I went to town with nearly an entire can of SC1. I went very heavy in a lot of places, and was definitely way too much (perfect). The nice part about this stuff is that it does “dry” to a point. If you’ve got a piece of plastic that’s really dull- spray it on and let it sit. Reapply it once you’ve noticed it start to dry. Let that sit, then take a microfiber towel and rub it down. I firmly believe that whatever is in this product also has rejuvenating qualities and the plastics absorb it. Also- I waxed the painted areas prior with Carnauba wax. The SC1 does not stick to the wax areas, but does rub out nicely to give even more shine. It just has to be buffed so there’s no streaking. While this product is silicone based- it absolutely is much more than just a silicone spray. Smell is fantastic too. Overall, I’d say that this is in my top 3 products now for detailing spray. Even on rubber, it gives shine and luster. It looks similar to Armoral but about ten times better. I was introduced to it buy a guy that has a lot of "toys" that always look new. I tried it and wow. I put on one side of my atv to see it if made a difference and then went for a backroad ride. There was no film on the atv like competitors yet the mud just slid off. It made the atv side look new and when I was done the ride there was no mud or dust on it. The dirt just slid off. Each side looked like two different machines. I have done the same on my truck mats. The now look new all the time with being slippery like competitors. After trying to apply it different ways, I found for my preference that I like to leave it for about 5 minutes and then just give it a quick wipe with a clean rag.
