I already had one Marimo moss ball and thought some others would be nice to look at. I dropped these in when they arrived- they looked brown and dry and pretty sad, but I figured that was because they'd been shipped. About a week later, though, I started seeing little worms popping out of them. I wasn't irritated at first because it's a new tank, like I said, and I figured these worms would die off and add ammonium to help with the cycling. NOPE! Instead they proceeded to infest my "good" marimo ball, and now all of the moss I have is either dead or dying.PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU WANT MOSS IN YOUR TANK! It arrives dead and full of insect larvae that will eat your other plants. Buyer beware!I have included a picture and a video that I took of the little worms that live on the moss balls this seller provides.
